Understanding Your Data Rights

What about backups and logs?

Category: Understanding Your Data Rights Updated 1 week ago

When data is deleted from Daily Promotions, it is removed from our active systems. However, like most secure platforms, residual copies may remain for a limited time in:

  • Backups – Encrypted system backups created for disaster recovery and business continuity.

  • Audit logs – Records kept for compliance, fraud prevention, and security monitoring.

These copies are not active or accessible for normal use, and they are automatically removed in the ordinary course of our backup rotation and log retention schedules.

This approach ensures both compliance and system reliability, while still honoring deletion requests in practice.
